Lake Oconee: The Long Row, 2009 (Part 2)

The trip back up the lake to the boat launch has to be pretty fast, particularly if I do the row after we’re back on standard time which was the case this year. So there isn’t much time for sightseeing unless we see something really interesting.

This year we laid the boat on the deck of the pontoon boat for the trip back

Still some time for photographing fall color as we pass

And an egret that was hunting at the shore

Even the boat launch is photogenic at this time of year

At the end of another successful ‘Long Row.’
