Crown Whitebeard
(Verbesina virginica)

The flowers were
reminiscent of Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) but the plants much larger. Yarrow plants are usually about 2 to 2.5 feet tall in our area. This Crown Whitebeard was 6 to 7 feet tall.
