Common Blue Violet (Viola sororia)

Two color variants of the Common Blue Violet (Viola sororia) occur in this area and bloom prolifically. They are small violets, about 3/4- to 1 inch in width and length.

The Common Blue Violet is native to the eastern United States and Canada
