Virginia Plantain (Plantago virginica)

Virginia plantain (Plantago virginica) is another plant that is easy to overlook. It looks more like a grass than a flowering plant. It only grows about 6-7 inches high and often is overgrown by other plants.

It’s a neat, compact plant.
