Multiflora Rose (Rosa multiflora)

Rosa multiflora is known by the common name Multiflora Rose. I’ve only seen it growing wild at home. This rose has distinct, white flower heads compared with other wild roses in our area.

Rosa multiflora is native to Japan. In the United States and Canada, it grows in states south and east of Quebec, Ontario, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. It also grows in Washington, Oregon and California.
