dragonfly landed on a scuppernong leaf just to my left. Unfortunately it was ‘between’ the sun and me. Not a good position for getting a good photograph. I was about to work my way around it, when it flew along the trail and…

landed to my right; the right side for photographing. 

Now, if it would just stay put so that I could quietly work my way around it. Surprisingly, it did. It let me quietly and slowly work my way from right to left around it.
