Bird-eye Speedwell (Veronica persica)

Another wildflower I almost missed. The flowers are less than 1/4-inch in diameter. The blue color of the flowers ‘disappears’ in the green of the foliage.

Bird-eye Speedwell (Veronica persica) is native to Eurasia. I grows throughout most of the United States and Canada.
