Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus)

This Eastern Tiger Swallowtail was feeding on nectar from Tuberous Vervain (Verbena rigida) flowers.

I love this butterfly, this one was also on my butterfly bush this week!
Joan, I very often can't leave a comment on your blog, my computer is old and it won't let me on blogs that have a lot of photos!
Don't know if you have seen my blog lately, but I have tried very hard to identify all the living things that I see...flowers, animals, trees..etc. The Yellow Daisies will be blooming on the monadnocks soon!
