Doesn’t this look like a dragonfly suspended in wood? That was my immediate thought when I saw this tree felled at the side of the trail from the campground to the dam.
While the lake level is lowered, crews have been felling trees on the lake shore and dragging them into the water as natural fish attractors. But let’s keep the good karma of this image. It’s not fun to see some of these trees removed unless they are diseased because they provide shade in the heat of the summer. Some sections of the lake, particularly the section from the campground to the dam have few trees now.
